Find a better place to stay - there are tons of hotels in the area (incl Hyatts)

The hotel is going through a never-ending process of "renovation". One of the two elevators has been out of order for YEARS. Good luck finding a parking place, especially with construction crew vehicles occupying good part of spots (for some reason, construction crew is given priority to guests)

I stayed here from out of town this past weekend April 27th to April 30th. The rooms are nice. Very great location. Only a few things. The staff had a great personalities. When we got in the room the phone didn't work at all. They said they were bringing someone to fix it and they never did. My friend found cigarette stains in his bed and sheets were not clean. We asked for our rooms to be cleaned and they said they couldn't the same night so my friend had to take his blanket and sleep on top the sheete. Very inconvenient. When we came to the front desk in the morning the next day, no one had a record of us asking for our sheets to be changed. They said they do not have any staff to clean today but will send the sheets up for us to change them ourselves. I said ok even though thay was unfair. We went out for hours and no sheets came to our room. My friend had to go down there and ask again and finally they send this wonderful housekeeper Jensia. She change all our linens and made the stay sooooo much better on our day before last. If it wasn't for her i would of gave a 1 star.

Having been in the hospitality industry, I noted several things that could be improved on. First, before putting guests in a room, be sure that everything is working...a/c, door handles etc.

Aside from a comfortable bed and nice TV, this place was a mess. Pool was shut down, only one elevator was working and not well, exercise equipment and AC broken, no functional ice maker in the building, and the staff wasn't super helpful. Breakfast was nice and location was convenient but the actual hotel management is a disaster.

Everything outside the room was just plain sad. We paid over $240 for 1 night. I expected more. It is one thing if there are under construction, but honestly you can't blame everything on that. There were no construction workers there. Right when we arrived we noticed cameras were broken and the carport was non-existent. The elevator was working but screeched and moved super slow. The pool had mold growing in it, there was a huge pile of trash sitting near the dumpster which I would see while looking outside my window. I expected way more. This was my first time staying at a Hyatt and I'm not sure if I will every stay at another one after this stay.
